Angelina Jolie’s son Maddox is said to have returned home from university in Seoul, South Korea. Maddox’s term has been cancelled as the coronavirus pandemic continues, say PEOPLE, and teenager has travelled home to the US. The 18-year-old will focus on studying Korean and Russian while at home with his mum and five siblings – Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shloh, 13, and 11-year-old Knox and Vivienne. He made the trip abroad to start university in August 2019, studying biochemistry at Seoul’s Yonsei University. After dropping off her eldest on campus, Angelina said she was ‘proud’. ‘I’m so excited, I feel like my world expands as their world expands. I learn so much from them and I love this stage,’ she told Tonight. She revealed that Maddox was looking after her while she thought she was ‘preparing him to go’. The actress told USA Today: ‘He stayed with me. It was like, he wants to be with his mother. And I asked him, “Are you OK?” And he said, “Yeah I’m fine.” ‘And then I realised the entire week was all for me. He was just making sure that I was going to be OK. And he gave me a really big hug. Because he knew I needed it. ‘He knew what I needed, and he gave it to me. So I left really proud.’ The Tourist actress shares Maddox and the rest of her five children – both adopted and biological – with ex-husband Brad Pitt, whom she split from in 2016.
