'Welcome to Kingdom Kids Online for Autumn 2020 Join us as we look at the Family tree of the bible – tracing the heroes of the Old Testament and learning what their stories mean to us today. This week we’re finishing the story of Joseph and learning that God can turn the bad into good! Pharaoh’s headdress Tools: Print out the template: https://www.firstpalette.com/craft/pharaoh-headdress.html , pens, scissors, glue, stickers etc. Print out the template and cut it out. Colour it in and decorate it in your best Egyptian style. Get some help to fit it around your head. Connection: Joseph ended up being only second in command in Egypt – that meant he had a lot of power and he probably wore Egyptian clothes! Josephs life changed from the worst to the best but he was still able to see God’s power through it all. Wheat/Corn collage Tools: Paper/card, PVA glue, corn kernels/wheat heads/dried beans (whatever you can find!) The bad situation he started in ended up becoming the greatest blessing – he was even able to save his family! Josephs Transformations Tools: Template found here - http://crafts.sinenomine.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/JosephTemplate.pdf scissors, glue, material, string, pens etc Print out the template and cut it out. Decorate the different outfits and Josephs body. You can retell the story by using the different outfits as you go along. Connection: Josephs life took so many twists and turns! He went from favourite son, slave, prisoner and second in command! What a life! Joseph knew that God was still in control through the good and the bad. We can remember that God will use the bad in our lives for His purposes too.0 Contact: Esther ebee@streathambaptist.com Facebook: Kingdom Kids at Streatham Baptist Website: www.streathambaptist.com'
